It’s all good news this morning. They ruled out a blood clot in his lungs and determined that his low oxygen levels were from excess fluid in his lungs. He was given medication to rid his body of this fluid. He was already able to take off the oxygen mask and go back to having a tube that rests just inside the nostrils. That also makes it easier for him to talk to us and us to hear what he’s saying. He has been feeling well today. If everything keeps going smoothly, he may be able to leave the hospital as early as Monday. Other than that, there really isn’t any news, which of course is good news. Thanks for your prayers and thanks to those who have offered to bring us meals. What a blessing to have all of your prayers during this time.
We all feel like we are breathing a sigh of relief today and not constantly checking messages and fearing another crisis like we were yesterday. I will keep you posted with any further updates.
